Alon Mizrahi is an Arab Jewish writer and activist who left Israel over the genocide it has perpetrated in Gaza. He now resides in the United States.
On January 21, 2025, Dimitri Lascaris spoke with Alon about his experiences as an Arab Jew in Israel, his abandonment of Zionism, and the future of the 'Jewish state'.
According to Alon, Israel's political elite and society have become so infused with hatred of Arabs, and have enjoyed impunity for so long, that the region cannot achieve a lasting and just peace unless Israel is dismantled.

I follow both of you on twitter btw ... great to see this interview here. Alon, I completely agree with you. Israel must be dismantled. I don't know how and I don't know when, but I this has to come to pass: Israel cannot--it just cannot--exist in its current form, as a terrorist, genocidal, apartheid, lunatic state. It is so outrageous, delusional, psychotic and sadistic that frankly it is oftentimes difficult for me to fathom. It is unbearable. I see this interview was done in January '25, and here we are now in March '26 - day 7 war with Iran. I wonder how it will end ...
